NURSE PERCEPTION ABOUT THE ASSISTENCIAL PRACTICE IN MENTAL HEALTH PUBLIC SERVICES

Resumo: The Psychiatric Reform appeared with the intention of disabling the psychiatric hospital progressively and to substitute it for a community services net. The goal was identify the nurses' perception of extra-hospitable services concerning the treatment practice in mental health and the influence of the Psychiatric Reform. Qualitative, descriptive-exploratory researches, carried out with all of the active nurses in public services of attention to the mental health of Caxias do Sul (Psychosocial Attention and Residential Therapeutic Centers). It was verified in the four interviewees' speeches, the transition of a hospital-centered and segregated care to an integral and human care, in which the interdisciplinary team inserted in those services disables that the treatment practice becomes isolated and disjointed, favoring the service to the user of the mental health net. The Psychiatric Reform process is felt and noticed by the professionals by their treatment practices in mental health. Keywords: hospitals psychiatric, nursing, perception, mental health services.

Keywords: hospitals psychiatric, nursing, perception, mental health services.La Reforma Psiquiátrica apareció con la intención de desactivar el hospital psiquiátrico progresivamente y sustituirlo por una red de servicios de carácter comunitario. El objetivo era identificar la percepción de los enfermeros de los servicios extra-hospitalarios acerca de la práctica asistencial en la salud mental y la influencia de la Reforma Psiquiátrica. Pesquisa descriptiva-exploratoria, con todos los enfermeros en los servicios públicos de atención a la salud mental de Caxias do Sul (Centros de Atención Psicosocial y Residenciales Terapéuticas). Se verificó en los discursos de los cuatro entrevistados, la transición de un cuidado hospitalocéntrico y segregador para un cuidado integral y humano, en que el equipo interdisciplinario inserido en esos servicios imposibilita que la práctica asistencial se aísle y se desarticule, mientras favoreciendo el servicio al usuario da la red de salud mental. El proceso de la Reforma Psiquiátrica se nota por los profesionales por medio de sus prácticas asistenciales en la salud mental. Palabras-clave: hospitales psiquiátricos, enfermería, percepción, servicios de salud mental.No final da década de 70, surgiu a Reforma Psiquiátrica com o intuito de desativar progressivamente o hospital psiquiátrico e substituí-lo por uma rede de serviços de cunho comunitário. Objetivou-se identificar a percepção dos enfermeiros dos serviços extra-hospitalares acerca da prática assistencial em saúde mental e a influência da Reforma Psiquiátrica. Pesquisa qualitativa, descritiva-exploratória, realizada com todos os enfermeiros atuantes nos serviços públicos de atenção à saúde mental de Caxias do Sul (Centros de Atenção Psicossocial e Residencial Terapêutico). Constatou-se nas falas dos quatro sujeitos entrevistados, a transição de um cuidado hospitalocêntrico e segregador para um cuidado integral e humano, no qual a equipe interdisciplinar inserida nesses serviços impossibilita que a prática assistencial se torne isolada e desarticulada, favorecendo o atendimento ao usuário da rede de saúde mental. O processo da Reforma Psiquiátrica é sentido e percebido pelos profissionais mediante suas práticas assistenciais em saúde mental.
