Utilization of the problematizing pedagogy in the nursing graduation for the care of the aggressive patient.

Resumo: This investigation aims at identifying, along with the graduation students, the prevailing difficulties in attending the aggressive patient. In this study, an instrument has been applied on the first and on the last day of apprenticeship to third-year students. The analysis occurred in a qualitative way by making use of Paulo Freire’s thematic analysis. It has been observed that most of the students have no experience on attending an aggressive patient and they do not feel in conditions to assist in this situation. The drawn conclusion is therefore that the student realizes his difficulties and an effective change must be made in the way and in the time of teaching this content

En este estudio, fue aplicado un instrumento, en el primer y en el último dia de aprendizaje, para los alumnos del tercer año. El análisis ocurrió de manera cualitativa, utilizándose el análisis temático de Paulo Freire. Se constató que la mayor parte de los alumnos no posee la vivencia de haber participado de atención a un paciente agresivo, no sentiendose en condiciones de asistir a la situación. Se puede concluir, por lo tanto, que el alumno percibe su dificultad y es menester un cambio efectivo en la manera y en el momento de enseñarse este contenidoEsta investigação objetiva identificar, com os alunos de graduação, as dificuldades prevalentes no atendimento do paciente agressivo. Neste estudo, foi aplicado um instrumento, no primeiro e no último dia de estágio para os alunos do terceiro ano. A análise ocorreu de forma qualitativa, utilizou-se a análise temática de Paulo Freire. Constatou-se que a maior parte dos alunos não tem a vivência de ter participado do atendimento a um paciente agressivo, não se sentindo em condições de atender à situação.
