Resumo: When delving into the world of women’s experience, we faced the challenge to work with women at risk in their marital relations. Objective: to unveil the different nuances of violence against women in their marital relations. A qualitative approach has been used as a methodological reference. For information collection, the technique of Narrative Interview was used, and later submitted to Content Analysis. This study sought to give voice to women facing domestic violence and to evidence the strategies they use to cope with assault and batter in different segments of society: family, relationships, police stations and health centers.

Objetivo: desvelar los diferentes matices de la violencia contra la mujer en las relaciones conyugales. El abordaje cualitativo fue utilizado como referencial metodológico. Para la colecta de las informaciones se utilizó la técnica de Entrevista Narrativa seguida del Análisis de Contenido. En este estudio se buscó dar voz a las mujeres, evidenciándose las estrategias utilizadas por ellas al enfrentar la violencia, en los diferentes segmentos de la sociedad: la familia, las relaciones interpersonales, las comisarías y, en los Servicios de Salud.O mergulho no mundo de vivências femininas propiciou o desafio de trabalhar com mulheres em situação de violência nas relações conjugais. Objetivo: desvelar os diferentes matizes da violência contra a mulher dentro da esfera conjugal. A abordagem qualitativa foi utilizada como referencial metodológico. Na coleta das informações utilizou-se a técnica de Entrevista Narrativa, tais informações foram submetidas a Análise de Conteúdo.
