Resumo: This study aimed at analyzing the problems related to the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and its relation with the women’s health in the family context. It is a study of reflexive analysis related to the theme, starting from a literature review and searching for an association with the reality studied. The educative approach is indispensable in the context of the woman’s health, taking into account that when the HPV affects the woman, it causes emotional instability, feelings of guilt and, many times, conjugal disharmony. The nurse plays an essential role in the control of the HPV and must develop actions of promotion and prevention, taking care individually of the family and the community

Estudio de análisis reflexivo relativo al tema, a partir de un repaso de literatura, buscándose una asociación con la realidad estudiada. El abordaje educativo es imprescindible en el contexto de la salud de la mujer, llevándose en consideración que el HPV, cuando acomete la mujer, provoca inestabilidad emocional, sentimientos de culpa y muchas veces discordia conyugal. El enfermero desempeña un papel de fundamental importancia en el control del HPV, debiendo desarrollar acciones de promoción y prevención, cuidando individualmente de la familia y de la comunidad.Objetivou-se analisar a problemática do Papillomavirus Humano (HPV) e a relação com a saúde da mulher no contexto familiar. Estudo de análise reflexiva relativa ao tema, a partir de uma revisão de literatura, buscandose uma associação com a realidade estudada. A abordagem educativa é imprescindível no contexto da saúde da mulher, levando-se em consideração que o HPV, quando acomete a mulher, acarreta instabilidade emocional, sentimentos de culpa e muitas vezes desarmonia conjugal.
