Resumo: | This paper proposes an analysis of the spectacle Flamenco Negro, based on the theoretical framework of the sociology of art and the sociology of ethnic-racial relations, combining the analysis of the social context of production of the work with the methodology of performance analysis. The study found that the process of creating such a work of art was part of a social network articulating a community of meaning that helped to form the dancers’ own racial consciousness, enabling them to reaffirm their position and their way of dancing within the art scene and resize the black diaspora as a collective experience by highlighting the hybridity between Afro-diasporic dances and musicalities in Flamenco. |

Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul2023-10-24info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionhttps://seer.ufrgs.br/index.php/presenca/article/view/134612Brazilian Journal on Presence Studies; Vol. 13 No. 4 (2023): Out./Dez. 2023Révue Brésilienne d'Études de la Présence; Vol. 13 No. 4 (2023): Out./Dez. 2023Révue Brésilienne d'Études de la Présence; Vol. 13 No 4 (2023): Out./Dez. 2023Revista Brasileira de Estudos da Presença; v. 13 n. 4 (2023): Out./Dez. 20232237-2660reponame:Revista Brasileira de Estudos da Presençainstname:Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS)instacron:UFRGSenghttps://seer.ufrgs.br/index.php/presenca/article/view/134612/90120Copyright (c) 2023 Revista Brasileira de Estudos da Presençahttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessAndreoli, Giuliano2023-10-24T18:54:15Zoai:seer.ufrgs.br:article/134612Revistahttp://seer.ufrgs.br/presencaPUBhttps://seer.ufrgs.br/presenca/oai||rev.presenca@gmail.com2237-26602237-2660opendoar:2023-10-24T18:54:15Revista Brasileira de Estudos da Presença - Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS)false |
