AGRIBUSINESS PROFILE OF ARTICLES PUBLISHED IN JOURNAL OF ACCOUNTING WITH STRATUM CAPES

Resumo: The Rio +20 showed the world that Brazilian agribusiness is able to balance economic viability with environmental sustainability, revealing the contribution of the field of food production. This research aims at analyzing the profile of agribusiness articles published in journals with accounting Capes stratum in the period 2006 to 2011. We used descriptive research, literature and qualitative. The results revealed that 27 items were found related to agribusiness in the 1665 publications. The magazine was the one that most Contextus published on this subject among the periodicals consulted. It was also the predominance of articles with qualitative, with Brazilian references and presented as major themes: cost, performance evaluation and research involving strategic management and sustainability of this economic sector. It was concluded that there was a predominance of male teachers authors, with titles of Master, linked to public institutions in the region south of the country and the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), followed by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) were institutions that had the largest number of authors with articles published.

Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo geral analisar o perfil dos artigos sobre agronegócio publicados nos periódicos de contabilidade com estrato Capes no período de 2006 a 2011. Foram utilizadas as pesquisas descritiva, bibliográfica e qualitativa. Os resultados revelaram que 27 artigos relacionados ao agronegócio foram encontrados nas 1.665 publicações analisadas. A revista Contextus foi a que mais publicou acerca dessa temática entre os periódicos consultados. Constatou-se, ainda, a predominância de artigos com natureza qualitativa, com referências brasileiras e que apresentaram os seguintes temas principais: custos, avaliação de desempenho e pesquisas envolvendo a gestão estratégica e a sustentabilidade desse segmento econômico.
