CONTROLLERSHIP AND ORDER PROCESSING: THE NEED OF AN INTEGRATED LOGISTICAL VIEW

Resumo: | The competitive advantage of a company shows up through its presence in the market where it acts, fact that can be perceived operationally by the size and renewal of its customers. Placing customers’ orders is an event that guarantees the survival of the company in the market, its management and client follow-up must guide all the company as well as put priority on its actions. In this context, the goal of this article is approach the main concepts and related stages in sales orders, highlighting the concerns, issues and attitudes to be considered in each part of processing them. It also considers the advantages of pushing and pulling the inventory and information flow, besides approaching the main elements of related costs in this kind of transaction. On the other hand, it suggests the integration of order processing with the controllership through information systems. |

On the other hand, it suggests the integration of order processing with the controllership through information systems.A vantagem competitiva das empresas se materializa através de sua presença no mercado em que atua, o que, em termos operacionais, pode ser percebido pelo tamanho e renovação de sua carteira de pedidos. Dado que a colocação de pedidos de clientes é um evento que garante a sobrevivência da empresa no mercado, o seu gerenciamento e o monitoramento da carteira deve mobilizar todas as áreas da empresa e priorizar as suas ações. Nesse contexto, o objetivo deste artigo é abordar os principais conceitos e as etapas envolvidas no ciclo de pedidos, dando especial destaque para as preocupações, problemas e posturas a serem considerados em cada etapa do processamento dele. Consideram-se também as vantagens das abordagens de puxar e empurrar os fluxos físicos de mercadorias e de informações, e apresentam-se os principais elementos de custos envolvidos nesse tipo de transação.
