Resumo: Studies indicate the occurrence of an agricultural boom in Brazil with effects also in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. The aim of this paper is to analyze the profile the appropriation of total agricultural income, in the types of rural households where at least one family member was engaged in agricultural activities in the state of Rio Grande do Sul in 2002 and 2009. To do so, we use microdata from the National Research by Household Sample (PNADs) with the decomposition of the effects of appropriation of agricultural income. The appropriation of farm income occurred in family farming, but with an important social differentiation. We conclude that public policies, especially credit promoted the continued specialization of agricultural activities and intersectoral integration process.

O objetivo deste artigo é analisar o perfil da apropriação da renda agrícola total nos tipos de famílias rurais, em que pelo menos um membro da família estava ocupado em atividades agrícolas no estado do Rio Grande do Sul nos anos de 2002 e 2009. Para tal, utilizam-se os microdados das Pesquisas Nacionais por Amostra de Domicílios (PNADs) com a decomposição dos efeitos da apropriação da renda agrícola. A apropriação da renda agrícola ocorreu na agricultura familiar, porém com uma diferenciação social importante.
