Resumo: With increasing production and reserves of oil and natural gas to South America has become a major exporter of energy (mainly Venezuela and Brazil), which attracted interest of the Chinese government to develop closer political and economic ties, especially in attempt to secure oil supplies for China and for providing the internationalization of operations  of  its  oil companies in the South American continent.
