Resumo: The objective of this paper is to verify whether the conditions for the emergence and continuity of the activity of violent groups are present in the context of the Yanomami crisis that occurred on the border between Brazil and Venezuela. To this end, this work is divided into two parts: the first, establishes the definition of ANEVs through content analysis and selects the elements that authors Marcos Ferreira and Rodrigo Framento (2020), Robert Mandel (2013), Phil Williams (2008), Johan Galtung (1969), Mary Kaldor (2005), Tatiana Moura (2010), Huseyn Aliyev (2017), Hassanein Ali (2020), Barbara Walter (2022) and Bartosz Stanislawski (2008) present as conditioning factors of the emergence of ANEVs in the most diverse contexts of instability in the international system. The second part, presents the crisis in the Yanomami Lands region, highlighting the diversity of actors involved in the context of violence and, based on this exposure, through qualitative analysis, identifies the presence of the elements raised in the previous step. Finally, the article presents the usefulness of the elements identified by the authors in suggesting contexts of instability tending to the formation of ANEVs and, consequently, sensitive circumstances of collective violence.
