Imágenes visuales en el aula y rendimiento escolar en física : un estudio comparativo

This work compares the performance of two groups of students level physics when one of them carries out a demonstrative treatment that emphasizes the use of visual resources (static images, animations, applets) and the other a boarding traditional. The comparison was made into the teaching unit Free oscillations, dimmed and enforced. Students resolved one initial test and a final test whose activities requested predict and explain. An analysis of variance and co-variance was conducted to compare the averages of groups in the final test, using the score as covariable obtained in the initial test. No significant differences were found between the performance of the group who worked with external images and the group worked in traditional manner. Discusses the results from the theoretical framework of the mental models, and new questions for the research.
