Resumo: In this paper, we will explore Judith Butler’s concept of face as a decisive operator to an ethics of intersubjectivity in times of an individualizing fascism. Therefore, we’ll analyze Maria Lídia Magliani’s paintings, questioning its power in suggesting to us the possibility of rethinking together the very meaning of what makes us human.
