Resumo: This article analyzes the recent Brazilian historiography of labor. It points that, instead of its development, there’s still much to be done, especially in terms of methodological reflection. It points, too, some possible directions for researches in this field, particularly as for the use of comparison and standards and the articulations of different scales and national contexts and realities.
