Resumo: Carlos Fico is Professor of History of Brazil at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and current coordinator of CAPES history area. He has studies about the Republican Brazil’s period and researches on historiography, military dictatorship, popular riots and political history of the United States during the Cold War. Maintains contact with the wider audience through texts and videos published in newspapers, social networks and on his blog called Recent Brazil.
