Resumo: This article aims at analyzing the influence of media culture on contemporary Brazilian literature texts, in which the mimetic movement in view of media apparatus languages doesn’t reveal praise for the novelty – as in narratives from modernity –, but anti-utopia of the culture of fastness and accumulation. This work investigates, mainly in texts of Moacir Scliar, Luiz Ruffato, and Michel Melamed, recordings of a time characterized by immediateness, simultaneity, and programmability illusion that permit the narrators and other textual subjects to perform constant time advancements and rewinds, as symptoms of mnemic obsession and anxiety for the future. Tensioned in hybrid and short literary forms – in which rapidity and concision are result of the search for intensive e remarkable constructions – the present and real time of electronic and digital media is disclosed as techno-mercantile strategy, where the vertiginous life becomes process of anesthetic substitution.

El trabajo investiga, en textos principalmente de Moacir Scliar, Luiz Ruffato y Michel Melamed, registros de un tiempo caracterizado por el imediatismo, simultaneidad e ilusión de lo programable, que permite a los narradores y a otros sujetos textuales, constantes avanzos y regresos temporales, síntomas de obsesión mnémica y de ansiedad por el porvenir. Tensionado en formas literarias híbridas y breves – en las cuales rapidez y concisión resultan de una búsqueda por construcción intensa y memorable –, el tiempo real y presente de las mídias electrónicas y digitales es desvelado como estrategia técnico-mercantil, en que la vida vertiginosa se hace proceso de sustitución anestésica.Este artigo busca analisar, na contemporaneidade, o influxo da cultura das mídias sobre textos da literatura brasileira, cujo movimento mimético em face dos dispositivos de enunciação dos aparatos midiáticos revela-se não mais apelo filoneísta – como em narrativas da modernidade – mas antiutopia da cultura da rapidez e do acúmulo. O trabalho investiga, em textos principalmente de Moacir Scliar, Luiz Ruffato e Michel Melamed, registros de um tempo caracterizado pelo imediatismo, simultaneidade e ilusão do programável, que permite aos narradores e outros sujeitos textuais constantes avanços e recuos temporais, sintomas de obsessão mnêmica e de ansiedade pelo porvir.
