Resumo: | This paper approaches the appropriation of transmedia communication strategies of the The Walking Dead (TWD) franchise by its Brazilian fans on the Internet on websites and Facebook fan pages. It is an exploratory study which, by categorizing posts of these websites, reveals a process that provides feedback from different motivations. It is observed that it is up to the fans to manage the transmedia processes, what is done in order to keep the fan status. |

Se trata de un estudio exploratorio que, por medio de la categorización de las publicaciones, revela un proceso que se retroalimenta a partir de motivaciones diferentes. Se percibe que cabe a los fans la conducción de los procesos transmidia, lo que se da en nombre del mantenimiento de su status de fan.Este artigo aborda as apropriações das estratégias de comunicação transmídia da franquia The Walking Dead (TWD) por parte de seus fãs brasileiros na internet em sites e fan pages do Facebook. Trata-se de um estudo exploratório que, por meio de categorização das postagens feitas nesses sites, revela um processo que se retroalimenta a partir de motivações diferentes.
