Resumo: In this article I analyze how the relationship between genders occur within the fan community as well as researchers of trash cinema. Starting from perspectives presented by paracinema researchers, and also from the observation of a sustained process of sociability that takes place in Orkut social network I investigate how the construction of the cult of masculinity existing in this type of movie is set in place, and also how the association of this type of consumption as a subculture contributes to the perpetuation of different approaches in gender.

Desde las consideraciones de los expertos del paracinema y de la observación de la sociabilidad mantenida por los aficionados a través del Orkut, investigo cómo se configura la construcción del culto de la masculinidad presente en este tipo de película y en su disfrute, y como la asociación de este tipo de consumo a un subcultura contribuye al mantenimiento de los diferentes enfoques de género.Nesse artigo, analiso de que forma as relações entre os gêneros feminino e masculino ocorrem no interior da comunidade de fãs e pesquisadores do cinema trash.
