Communication studies: from enunciation to mediatization

Resumo: The article aims to highlight semiotic contributions to the communication studies, taking into account changes in the media landscape with the advent of the internet, especially in the current phase of social networks. The study provides insights, concerning the importance of further explorations of the conceptual universe of three areas deemed essential for a better understanding of the semiosis produced in and by the media: enunciation, circulation and mediatization. The starting point of this work is the study of the effects, in order to rethink other paths of research due to the media implications in the contemporary context.

A partir de leituras de teóricos da comunicação, o itinerário traçado evidencia a importância de se aprofundar no universo conceitual, de três domínios necessários para se entender melhor a semiose produzida nos e pelos meios de comunicação: enunciação, circulação e mediatização.
