Resumo: This research aims to observe, identify and analyze, through content analysis, the characteristics that determine the construction of science dissemination in the web news portal of Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, Campo Grande News to understand how science has been disseminated in the online environment. We analyzed 16 materials collected in March 2021, a period that coincides with the new wave of growth of Covid-19 cases in Brazil, causing science issues to rise. The content of scientific messages and themes from the perspective of scientific dissemination of Wilson Bueno evaluated in depth using the Content Analysis method of Bardin and Franco. It was found that the dissemination of scientific research through the portal is small, pointing out how science has been neglected

Foram analisadas 16 matérias coletadas no mês de março de 2021, período que coincide com a nova onda de crescimento dos casos de Covid-19 no Brasil, fazendo com que os assuntos sobre ciência estivessem em alta. Foi analisado o conteúdo das mensagens científicas e temas sob a perspectiva da divulgação científica de Wilson Bueno avaliados em profundidade por meio do método Análise de conteúdo, de Bardin e Franco.
