Resumo: This article seeks to discuss the possibilities of building research and intervention strategies through the use of technology for producing digital photographic images. For this means, we bring into discussion an experience undertaken in a mental health service for children and adolescents Porto Alegre, Brazil. In this experience, we sought to build a way to conceive the relation between subjects and technologies: the concept of technological coupling. This coupling was modulated through digital photography workshops, in which patients and hospital staff produced images to answer a specific question. We discuss ways in which photography can guarantee possibilities of creation through the coupling of cognition and technology. Our hypothesis is that this will become possible by placing a proposal based on the research field. In this way, we seek to lay the ground for building ways to research and produce action in the research field through the use of technology.

Para tanto, trazemos uma experiência realizada em um serviço de saúde mental infanto-juvenil em Porto Alegre, Brasil. Em tal experiência, buscamos construir uma forma específica de conceber as relações entre sujeitos e tecnologias, o acoplamento tecnológico, assim como tentamos modular este acoplamento com a realização de oficinas de fotografia digital, nas quais jovens em tratamento e equipe técnica produziram imagens a partir de uma questão que lhes foi proposta. Discutimos de que modo a fotografia pode, por meio de um acoplamento cognição-máquina, garantir possibilidades de criação. Nossa hipótese é a de que isso se tornará possível por meio da colocação de uma proposta, pensada a partir do campo de pesquisa.
