Resumo: The history of emperor Julian's image is very copious and, at the same time, enthusiastic and containing plenty of curiosities. The authors of the biographies written about the emperor constructed different kinds of portraits which represented their specific historical and political points of view. ln this article I will show how emperor Julian's image was described in some biographies from the XVIIIth century.
