Resumo: The present work contains an introduction to the translation into Brazilian Portuguese of the article Antipsychiatry and antipsychoanalysis (Antipsiquiatria y antipsicoanálisis), by Ignacio Martín-Baró (1973/2022). It discusses fundamental aspects, contextualizing it, reiterating its relevance, and advancing in the debate to which it proposes, namely: the criticism and transformation of the psych field (psychiatry, psychology, and psychoanalysis). We aim to encourage the debate on the critique of psychology in a radical perspective, from Marxism. Is it not up to us to build an antipsychology, like antipsychiatry and antipsychoanalysis? A subsumption of psychology, in the sense of affirming it, but also denying it and producing itself as a negation of negation? If for Martín-Baró (1973), for a new society to emerge, this science (psychology) must stop being not only this science, but ours, for us, it must also cease to be, it must be overcome.

Discute aspectos fundamentales, contextualizándolo, reiterando su pertinencia y avanzando en el debate al que se propone, a saber: la crítica y transformación del campo de la psiquiatría (psiquiatría, psicología y psicoanálisis). Pretendemos fomentar el debate sobre la crítica de la psicología en una perspectiva radical, desde el marxismo. ¿No nos cabe construir una antipsicología, como la antipsiquiatría y el antipsicoanálisis? ¿Una subsunción de la psicología, en el sentido de afirmarla, pero también negarla y producirse como negación de la negación? Si para Martín-Baró (1973), para que surja una nueva sociedad, esta ciencia -la psicología- tiene que dejar de ser no solo esta ciencia, sino la nuestra, para nosotros también debe dejar de serlo, debe ser superada.O presente trabalho trata de uma introdução à tradução ao português brasileiro do artigo Antipsiquiatria e antipsicanálise (Antipsiquiatria y antipsicoanálisis), de Ignacio Martín-Baró (1973/2022). São debatidos aspectos fundamentais, contextualizando-o, reiterando sua relevância e avançando no debate ao qual se propõe, a saber: a crítica e transformação do campo psi (psiquiatria, psicologia e psicanálise). Ensejamos fomentar o debate sobre a crítica da psicologia numa perspectiva radical, a partir do marxismo. Não nos cabe construir uma antipsicologia, como a antipsiquiatria e a antipsicanálise? Uma suprassunção da psicologia, no sentido de afirmá-la, mas também negá-la e produzir-se enquanto negação da negação?
