Teaching of Accounting and Management: configurations and demands of the class exposition

Resumo: Purpose: To analyze the links between expectations and actual experience in the development of expository classes. The aim was also to identify the quality parameters used by students and graduates to evaluate the quality of these classes. Methodology: Qualitative research of an exploratory-descriptive nature, this study was based on the results of a survey conducted with undergraduate and postgraduate students of the courses of Management and Accounting Sciences, as well as graduates of these courses in the last three years. Although the theme-axis of this research is recurrent in scientific research, the cut proposed in this study was diagnostic. Results: They point to the appreciation of the pedagogical conception in the daily practice of educational practices, especially in the planning of the lectures. The revealed expectation is that these directives are oriented by more progressive paradigms, focused on the autonomy of the subject, its emancipation and reality. The demands pointed out in the research demand the development of cognitive, technical, but also, relational and emotional competences, essential to the professional and social exercise of the individual. The research data led to the conclusion that teacher performance is valued for its effectiveness in incorporating into its practices the guiding objectives of developing the necessary or possible competences (intersubjective and relational dimension). Contributions of the study: The investigation refers as contribution, punctual reflections on the academic practice, confronting expectations and effective practices.

Se identificó, igualmente, identificar los parámetros de calidad utilizados por los alumnos y egresados para evaluar la calidad de esas clases. Metodología: La investigación cualitativa de naturaleza exploratoria-descriptiva, este estudio se apoyó en los resultados de un estudio (encuesta) realizado junto a alumnos de graduación y postgrado de los cursos de Administración y Ciencias Contables, además de egresados de estos cursos en los últimos tres años. No obstante el tema-eje de esa investigación sea recurrente en investigaciones científicas, el recorte propuesto en ese estudio fue diagnóstico. Resultado: Apuntan a la valorización de la concepción pedagógica en el cotidiano de las prácticas educativas, especialmente en la planificación de las clases expositivas. La expectativa revelada es que esas directivas se orienten por paradigmas más progresistas, enfocados en la autonomía del sujeto, su emancipación y realidad. Las demandas apuntadas en la investigación reclaman el desarrollo de competencias cognitivas, técnicas, pero igualmente, relacionales y emocionales, esenciales para el ejercicio profesional y social del individuo. Los datos de investigación encaminaron la conclusión de que el desempeño docente es valorado por su efectividad en la incorporación a sus prácticas de los objetivos orientadores del desarrollo de las competencias necesarias o posibles (dimensión intersubjetiva y relacional). Contribuciones del estudio: La investigación encamina como contribución, reflexiones puntuales sobre la práctica académica, enfrentando expectativas y prácticas efectivas.Objetivo: Analisar os elos da correspondência entre expectativas e experiência efetiva no empreendimento de aulas expositivas. Visou-se, igualmente, identificar os parâmetros de qualidade utilizados pelos alunos e egressos para avaliar a qualidade dessas aulas. Metodologia: Pesquisa qualitativa de natureza exploratório-descritiva, esse estudo apoiou-se nos resultados de um levantamento (survey) realizado junto a alunos de graduação e pós-graduação dos cursos de Administração e Ciências Contábeis, além de egressos desses cursos nos últimos três anos. Não obstante o tema-eixo dessa investigação seja recorrente em pesquisas científicas, o recorte proposto nesse estudo foi diagnóstico. Resultados: Apontam para a valorização da concepção pedagógica no cotidiano das práticas educativas, especialmente no planejamento das aulas expositivas. A expectativa revelada é que essas diretivas se orientem por paradigmas mais progressistas, focados na autonomia do sujeito, sua emancipação e realidade. As demandas apontadas na investigação reclamam o desenvolvimento de competências cognitivas, técnicas, mas igualmente, relacionais e emocionais, essenciais ao exercício profissional e social do indivíduo.
