Resumo:  Kervégan describes the meaning and place of Carl Schmitt in the formation of his own political thought, from his discovery of Schmitt as a key for the interpretation of Hegel to the publication of the collection Que faire de Carl Schmitt?. He also meditates on Schmitt's abominable biography and how to take it into account when appropriating his thought.
