Resumo: | This essay considers Francis Ponge's poetic movement from the debate between two theories: the phenomenology and the formalism. Based on a structural linguistics, phenomenology does not constitute a valid theoretical reference for the work of Francis Ponge. Considering the content of the criticism of the phenomenology from structuralism and the initiatives of responses motivated by the phenomenology of Merleau-Ponty, many questions appear. From the intrinsic link between words and things, it is concluded that both movements participate in the poetic composition of the author of The Nature of Things. Refuting the statement of formalism, phenomenology plays a constitutive role in the poetic imagination. It is a question of exploring, between these two theories, a reasonable and conciliatory alternative. |
