Resumo: The main purpose of this work is to develop a reflection on Carl Schmitt's reading of Catholic intellectuals understood by him as State philosophers of the counterrevolution. Especially, the work focuses on the relationship established by Carl Schmitt between Political Theology and Constitution, based on the analysis of De Maistre and De Bonald reflections, especially regarding the theological-political reading of central categories of the theory of constitution, as, for example, the question of constituent power and the constitution of order, a critical reflection of such categories not to restore the monarchy, but rather, pointing to the defense of the dictatorship. Thus, starting from a hermeneutic method, texts from primary bibliography were analyzed and, henceforth, other works by interlocutors, as well as other authors who dedicated themselves to the problem under analysis.

Pontualmente, o trabalho concentra-se na relação estabelecida por Carl Schmitt entre Teologia Política e Constituição, a partir da análise das reflexões De Maistre e De Bonald, em especial no que diz respeito a leitura teológico-política de categorias centrais da teoria da constituição, como, por exemplo, a questão do poder constituinte e da constituição da ordem, uma reflexão crítica de tais categorias não para restaurar a monarquia, mas, sim, apontando para a defesa da ditadura.
