Resumo: | This study intends to understand the Higher Indigenous Multicultural Formation in how this context safeguards a new current demand: the need for the Institute of Indigenous Higher Education in Roraima - INSIKIRAN, present at the Federal University of Roraima - UFRR, to consider the feasibility of a Course of Higher Education in Macuxi Distance Language. In order to fulfill this purpose, based on bibliographical-qualitative model of research, the approach of the subject of foundations based on publications texts, theses, articles and dissertations that favor a better understanding about this reality. As the theme was better discussed, one could gain a better insight and knowledge about the Multicultural Indigenous Higher Formation. Keywords: Higher Education. Multiculturalism. Este estudo tem por interesse compreender a Formação Superior Indígena Multicultural em como este contexto resguarda uma nova demanda atual: a necessidade que o Instituto de Formação Superior Indígena em Roraima – INSIKIRAN, presente na Universidade Federal de Roraima – UFRR, observe a viabilidade de um Curso de Formação Superior em Língua Macuxi a Distância. Visando cumprir esse propósito, baseado em modelo bibliográfico-qualitativo de pesquisa, a abordagem do tema de fundamentou em publicações textos, teses, artigos e dissertações que favorecessem uma melhor compreensão sobre essa realidade.
