Resumo: | In this study we will seek to understand the still little-known reality of workers on pendular displacement during a COVID-19 pandemic period. An indelible situation that has changed the daily reality of men and women worldwide. Therefore, through the qualitative study we propose to discuss the impacts and challenges of 4 textile workers who experience commuting experiences in the face of the paralysis of production in the textile industry. Thus, we will also seek to reflect, in this context, regarding their experiences as workers and heads of family, comforting in the face of the overlapping social identities of class, gender, race / ethnicity, emphasizing the interposition of systems of oppression, that is, the intersectional category. In this perspective, we propose to the double challenge of analyzing the daily lives of these women workers pre-pandemic and during the quarantine period. To this end, this essay-discussion uses the philosophical theory of intersectionality plus concrete experiences of working women. The field data exposed throughout the text are the result of historical narratives of women from the community of Capela (Ceará-Mirim) who work in the factories of the Riachuelo Group in Extremoz / RN. |

The field data exposed throughout the text are the result of historical narratives of women from the community of Capela (Ceará-Mirim) who work in the factories of the Riachuelo Group in Extremoz / RN.
