Resumo: A novel cylindrical DRA antenna based on chemical compound Zr0.25Ti0.75O2 (zirconia titanate) with a high dielectric constant is proposed for the first time for wireless communication systems in high frequency. Numerical and experimental results are presented, as well as a discussion for the proposed antenna and its frequency response. Results of return loss, radiation pattern and input impedance are illustrated and discussed. Numerical results are obtained using Ansoft HFSS based on the element finite method and compared with experimental results, producing a broadband response. A good agreement among results were verified and discussed
