The objective of this study is to document the history of the band of the Evangelical Assembly of God Temple Center in the neighborhood of Rosemary, the city of NatalRN (now Philharmonic Gospel Genesis), the oldest evangelical Pentecostal group instrumental in the city. The band has performed music in the liturgies and other religious activities of the church, besides standing out as an area of training of young musicians, representing a significant moment in the history of gospel music in the city of Natal. However, even in the absence of a documentary record on this issue, we made a work that aims to investigate and document factors that would show this trend by establishing a chronological history of the activities of the band date of its creation until today. It created a documentary record, making use of bylaws, articles, scores, photos, and testimonials from musicians, magazines, newspapers, information analysis and a literature inherent in discussions of music and religion. As well as a description of the practice and reporting aspects of music education in the Assemblies of God Church Temple Central through the band's music. This work is the end that might contribute somehow to the academic community and music, evangelicals and others interested in the subject and specialist publications in the area.
