Resumo: | The shear wall is a structural element of great importance to engineering and its use became common in large projects such as the construction of tall buildings and bridges, providing greater rigidity to the structure as a whole. The shear wall differs from common column, first being a surface element, whereas the abutment is a linear element, and also because of the localized effects which may arise in shear wall. This work of course conclusion studies the design and detailing of these structural elements by NBR 6118: 2014 (concrete structures design) and through computational resources widely used in the country: CAD/TQS, AltoQi/Eberick and CypeCAD. The manual design, as well as the CAD / TQS and AltoQi / Eberick uses the simplified method of NBR 6118: 2014. Besides this method, the CAD / TQS also makes the analysis of these components through the meshes method. Already CYPECAD designs these elements using finite elements. Thus, the manual results, CAD/TQS and AltoQi/Eberick were equivalent, but the results obtained by CYPECAD were much lower and should be analyzed by the engineer. |

O pilar-parede se diferencia do pilar comum, primeiramente por ser um elemento de superfície, enquanto o pilar é um elemento linear, e também por causa dos efeitos localizados que podem surgir nos pilares-parede. Este trabalho de conclusão de curso estuda o dimensionamento e o detalhamento desses elementos estruturais através da NBR 6118:2014 (projeto de estruturas de concreto) e através de recursos computacionais amplamente utilizados no país: o CAD/TQS, AltoQi/Eberick e o CypeCAD. O dimensionamento manual, bem como o do CAD/TQS e do AltoQi/Eberick, utiliza o método simplificado da NBR 6118:2014. Além deste método, o CAD/TQS também faz a análise desses elementos através do método das malhas. Já o CypeCAD dimensiona estes através de elementos finitos.
