This final paper for the theater degree describes the project of producing and constructing the Equilibrist Reflector, a teaching aid game, with the purpose of introducing basic knowledge in the area of stage lighting covering various types of stage equipment and instruments, their applicabilities and their terminologies. Furthermore, the paper outlines the teaching of vocabulary used in Italian stage and how the technological elements are embedded in its structure. The methodology of constructing the teaching aid game is described in this paper to demonstrate an example of theatrical role play, where knowledge about stage lighting is also provided in a playful and engaging way within specific game rules. The Equilibrist Reflector can be a model to facilitate the teaching of stage lighting, as it seeks a progressive approach through the element of theatrical language implemented in a game scenario. In this context, it extends the possibilities of teaching and learning about theater in elementary schools in an innovative way, and can be a pioneer in the proposal of teaching aid games.
