Uma análise dos estudos dissertativos sobre o Construtivismo defendidos na UFRN de 2001 a 2009

Resumo: | This monograph is the result of a State of the Art Study on Constructivism. The choice of subject was given at the time that there was a need to investigate and apply not so archaic and traditional teaching methods, so that the student could understand the content in a different way than has already been taught for years. Interest in the subject has also been awakened from the participation in a discipline called TEE - Theory of Teaching and Learning in the year 2015 where, on several occasions the issue was addressed. The work was elaborated from a literature search, ie a mapping of research regarding the Constructivist practice, defended in graduate courses at UFRN – Campus de Natal. Thus, it was made a cut referring to the year of defense delimiting these surveys, between the years 2001 to 2009. A second cut was made, regarding the analysis of a doctoral thesis and six dissertations. After these procedures, the readings and analysis of each of the works and created some categories have been made for a better understanding of each, as subjects and educational levels, content addressed - which were categorized into: trigonometry, geometrical concepts of area and perimeter, decimal numbering system, mathematical operation - addition, measurements and quantities, complex numbers and equations of the 2nd degree; problems and goals. The results achieved in each of the research shows that it is indeed possible to work according to what Constructivism fold, thus enabling the development of teaching / learning with better understanding by the students. |

A escolha do tema se deu no momento em que houve a necessidade de investigar e aplicar métodos de ensino não tão arcaicos e tradicionais, para que o aluno pudesse compreender o conteúdo de uma forma diferente do que já vem sendo ensinado a anos. O interesse pelo tema também foi despertado a partir da participação em uma disciplina optativa denominada TEE – Teoria do Ensino e Aprendizagem, no ano de 2015 onde, por várias vezes, o assunto foi abordado. O trabalho foi elaborado a partir de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, ou seja, de um mapeamento das pesquisas referentes à prática Construtivista, defendidas nos cursos de pós-graduação da UFRN – Campus de Natal. Dessa forma, foi realizado um recorte referente à delimitação de ano de defesa nessas pesquisas, entre os anos de 2001 a 2009. Um segundo recorte foi feito, referente à análise de uma tese de doutorado e seis dissertações de mestrado. Após esses procedimentos, foram realizadas as leituras e análises de cada um dos trabalhos e criadas algumas categorias para o melhor entendimento de cada uma, como: sujeitos e níveis de ensino, conteúdos abordados - que foram categorizados em: trigonometria, conceitos geométricos de área e perímetro, sistema de numeração decimal, operação matemática – adição, medidas e grandezas, números complexos e equações do 2º grau; problemáticas e objetivos.
