Entrelaçando memórias: a poética do tecer na instalação artística

Resumo: This work is a descriptive memorial of one artistic installation’s creative process which has been made along with a women’s group called the Associação Comunitária do Bem Estar da Mulher (ASCOBEM). This work aimed a production of an installation using crochê as resource to weave emotional memories. Our intention here was to construct a poetic connection between weave activity and memory in trousseaus and layettes. Therefore, interventions have been made at ASCOBEM by the way of structured and semi-structured interviews, photographs of their work and construction of pieces that formed the installation. Based on the theorethical framework of Maurice Halbwachs on collective memory, Fernanda Junqueira and Elaine Tedesco on installation, Cecília Salles on the creative process and Fayga Ostrower on composition, we have constructed a relation between theory and practice. Throughout the creative process, we’ve noticed that this is an important element within the artistic production, because of the dialectics it involves between the artist’s ideas and practices and on the making of the best choices for his/hers constant creation and recreation.

Teve como objetivo produzir uma instalação utilizando crochê como recurso para tecer memórias afetivas, pretendendo, dessa forma, construir uma relação poética entre a atividade do tecer e a memória contida em peças de enxovais de casamento e nascimento. Para tanto, foram feitas intervenções com as mulheres da ASCOBEM através de entrevistas estruturadas e semiestruturadas, fotografias de seus trabalhos e construções, em conjunto, das peças que constituíram a Instalação. Tendo como base teórica as ideias de Maurice Halbwachs sobre memória coletiva, Fernanda Junqueira e Elaine Tedesco sobre Instalação, Cecília Salles com o processo criativo e Fayga Ostrower acerca de composição, fizemos uma relação entre teoria e prática.
