Resumo: The civil construction, at the same time it is responsible for the development of a country, is also a major environmental degradation agent, with the removal of non-renewable mineral resources and large waste generation. An alternative that arises in this scenario is the recycling of these materials for incorporation into coating mortar. This study aimed to characterize, the study of mechanical performance and the factors that influence the durability of coating mortars produced with the replacement of natural aggregate, the Construction and Demolition Waste - CDW, in percentages of 0, 25, 50, 75 and 100%. The results of mechanical properties to 28 and 91 days were satisfactory, since it showed superior especially in relation to the capacity of deformation and a bigger percentage gain in compressive strength. The technological properties that influence the durability obtained values lower than the reference mortar.

Uma alternativa que surge nesse cenário é a reciclagem desses materiais para a incorporação em argamassas de revestimento. O presente trabalho objetivou a caracterização, o estudo do desempenho mecânico e dos fatores que influenciam na durabilidade, de argamassas de revestimento produzidas com a substituição do agregado natural, pelo Resíduo de Construção e Demolição – RCD, nos percentuais de 0, 25, 50, 75 e 100%. Os resultados das propriedades mecânicas aos 28 e 91 dias foram satisfatórios, uma vez que se mostraram superiores, principalmente em relação à capacidade de deformação e a um maior ganho percentual na resistência à compressão.
