This article came from some of my concerns and anxieties in wondering how the family and the school behave by this contemporary time, realize the changes that have occurred in society in recent times, changes which came achieve significantly and in general throughout society. As a result, such work has as main approach the family and the school in contemporary times, this research aims to understand the difficulties and anxieties present in schools and in families. The methodology used for the construction of this work is based on a qualitative research, drawn from bibliographical research, and theoretical frameworks that contribute to a better development of the work, authors that help better engage the issue and make clear ideas, thoughts and concepts related to the proposed theme. Faced with the reflection that the research provided, intend to point through the results, some guidelines that will contribute to our educational practice and other education professionals.
