Resumo: This paper proposes the outline of a transportable emergency structure for isolation and treatment of communicable diseases. The project falls within the disciplines of Architectural Project and Building Technology, and its main research goal is to comprehend the following topics: disease epidemics, ephemeral architecture, emergency architecture, emergency architecture building systems, portable architecture (transportability) and forms of hospital isolation; in order to present architectural solutions that respond well to epidemiological situations. The work and research result in a modular flat pack structure, similar to a bellows, which consists of modules of pantographic structure which can expand when being used, or colapse when being transported.

O projeto enquadra as disciplinas de Projeto de Arquitetura e Tecnologia da Construção, e tem como objetivo principal da pesquisa, compreender os seguintes temas: epidemias, arquitetura efêmera, arquitetura de emergência, sistemas construtivos de arquitetura de emergência, arquitetura portátil (transportabilidade) e formas de isolamento hospitalar; visando apresentar soluções arquitetônicas que respondem bem a situações epidemiológicas.
