Resumo: | Civil construction is taken as a major source of environmental degradation, as it is the largest source of society waste, and presents no proper disposal of these in different stages of the production process. Thus, it is necessary to pay attention to environmental issues in this sector (CARNEIRO, 2010). Considering the importance of the construction industry in the productive and industrial chain in Brazil, to take action and/or implement sustainability strategies, especially in construction sites, is presented as a key factor for reducing environmental impacts from this activity (SILVA & PORANGABA, 2012). This study aims to propose the implementation of sustainable actions in a construction site, based on existing legislation and standards, through a case study. The chosen project is in the construction phase, located in Natal / RN. The methodology started from a diagnosis through technical on-site visit with photographic record, access to documents and projects and interviews with managers of the work to know the main environmental aspects and impacts of processes carried out on site. Through the database there was a survey of the proposed actions costs based on the necessary infrastructure and National Costs and Indexes of Construction Research System (SINAPI). The main environmental aspects that occurred in the site are related to the generation of solid waste, water and electricity consumption. Proposals for sustainable actions include the management of waste according to Resolution No. 307/02 of CONAMA, including material donation to recycling cooperatives; adoption of water reuse for less noble purposes; and environmental education of employees to reduce the consumption of other materials and reduce waste. The costs for implementation of the necessary infrastructure to carry out such actions is R$ 9,042.23. It is suggested for future studies to be evaluated the investment return and the economic feasibility of adoption of such solutions. |

Considerando a importância que a construção civil desempenha na cadeia produtiva e industrial do país, adotar medidas e/ou implementar estratégias de sustentabilidade, sobretudo nos canteiros de obras, se apresenta como fator primordial para redução dos impactos ambientais oriundos dessa atividade (SILVA e PORANGABA, 2012). O presente trabalho tem como objetivo propor a implantação de ações sustentáveis num canteiro de obra com base na legislação e normas vigentes, através de um estudo de caso. O empreendimento escolhido encontra-se na fase de construção, localizado no município de Natal/RN. A metodologia partiu de um diagnóstico através de visitas técnicas in loco, com registro fotográfico, acesso a documentos e projetos e entrevista com os gestores da obra para conhecer os principais aspectos e impactos ambientais dos processos realizados no canteiro. Através da base de dados foi realizado o levantamento de custos das ações propostas partindo da infraestrutura necessária e do Sistema Nacional de Pesquisa de Custos e Índices da Construção Civil (SINAPI). Os principais aspectos ambientais gerados no canteiro estão relacionados à geração de resíduos sólidos, consumo de água e de energia elétrica. As propostas de ações sustentáveis compreendem o manejo dos resíduos conforme a Resolução nº 307/02 do CONAMA, incluindo doação de material para cooperativas de catadores; reuso de águas para fins menos nobres; e educação ambiental dos colaboradores no sentido de reduzir o consumo de outros materiais e reduzir o desperdício. As despesas para implantação da estrutura necessária para realizar tais ações totalizam R$ 9.042,23.
