Resumo: The object of study in this work is the thought of the garden master, philosopher of the ancient period, Epicurus of Samos, about the ethical exercise to practice a happy life. Ethics focused on study of pleasure as the main purpose. His reflection mode remains current as we investigate about the main focus of the study, based on analysis of natural phenomenons and physiology, presented by him as the practical exercise to base his ethics in favor of research on the nature and consequentemnte of a happy life. The objective is to show the purpose of epicureio pleasure and the means to achieve it, find balance and keep the mind free from unhappy thoughts, fears and disturbances. To do this, we need to clarify the key concepts covered by Epicurus. In order to clarify them, it is necessary to explain the concepts of logismos, phronesis, ataraxia and aponia as a basis for understanding of his thought. For data collection about what is pretended here to be clarified, we will use the main available texts and references about the subject already mentioned in question.

Ética voltada para o estudo acerca do prazer como bem final. Seu modo de reflexão se mantém atual a medida que investigamos sobre o foco principal que tem como objetivo central o estudo acerca dos fenomenos da natureza e a physiología por ele apresentada como o exercício prático para fundamentar sua ética em favor da investigação da natureza e consequentemnte da vida feliz. O objetivo é mostrar qual a finalidade do prazer epicureio e os meios necessários para alcançá-lo, para atingirr o equilíbrio e manter a mente livre de medos e pertubações infelizes. Para tal, precisaremos esclarecer os principais conceitos abordados por Epicuro afim de elucidá-los, disso se faz necessário a explicação dos conceitos de logismós, phrónesis, ataraxia e aponia como base para a compreensão de seu pensamento.
