This investigative study, which has as its theme the use of information and communication technologies in literacy and literacy process, it is important to recognize the need to create opportunities to access information and communication technologies to children, from an early age, as you can enable a more dynamic and updated learning. Therefore, the main objective is to analyze the importance of the integration of information and media in the early years of elementary school, considering the limitations of those involved in teaching / learning process. The question guiding this study is to observe how the integration of media and information in schools can contribute to the development of teaching-learning process in the early years of elementary school and what the limitations of education professionals in adapting these new methods. To give credibility to this research, it was necessary to be based on the contributions offered by theorists such as: Kleiman (1995), Moran (2001), Smith (1999), Oliveira (2007), Freire (1996) among others. The research was conducted in a qualitative approach perspective, being used as a resource for the collection of data, field observation and semi-structured interviews that took place in Creche São Francisco das Chagas and Educandário Know roots in the city of Luís Gomes / RN. , Is revealed to the study, it is necessary the use of technology in schools it serves to include the child in the globalized world and also allows the same go appropriating writing rich and pleasurable way language. Rich in diversity, contained in existing and pleasurable technological resources, it is through play that children learn.
