Pedagogia Hospitalar: A literatura infantil e sua influência nos aspectos emocionais de crianças em tratamento na pediatria do hospital universitário Onofre Lopes (huol)

Resumo: Discussions on literature have attracted interest from education and childhood researchers, but have yet to be addressed in a timid manner in the hospital context of education. We start from the following question of study: what are the implications that the literature reflects on the emotional aspects in the pediatric sector of HUOL? The present study aims to reflect on the infant literature and its implications on the emotional aspects of children in treatment in pediatrics at University Hospital Onofre Lopes (HUOL). The study is characterized by the approach of qualitative research in education, exploratory bibliographical, empirical and data production through questionnaires applied to the pedagogues and psychologist, who work in the Hospital Class of the Pediatric Hospital of the Hospital Universitário Onofre Lopes (HUOL) Located in the district of Petrópolis, Natal/RN - Brazil. In the process of data analysis we work with the study of Brazilian legislation on this subject, as well as the investigation of theoretical assumptions that give the scientific support in the area of learning and hospitalization. We start from a review of the literature on educational approaches that deal with education, especially within the scope of the Hospital Class with authors such as: Ceccim, R. B; Carvalho (1997), Fonseca (1999), Matos and Mugiatti (2010), among others; We conducted a documentary analysis based on the laws envisaged for special education in Brazil. We found out from the concrete construction of the Project: “Read and play in Imagination’s World” that through storytelling it is possible to interact with children and adolescents and create an atmosphere of relaxation, generating learning and concretizing moments of affection and affectivity.

Partimos da seguinte questão de estudo: quais as implicações que a literatura reflete nos aspectos emocionais no setor de pediatria do HUOL? O presente estudo tem como objetivo refletir sobre a literatura infantil e as suas implicações nos aspectos emocionais de crianças em tratamento na pediatria do Hospital Universitário Onofre Lopes (HUOL). O estudo caracteriza-se pela abordagem de pesquisa qualitativa em educação, de cunho exploratório bibliográfico, empírico e de produção de dados por meio de questionários aplicados junto às pedagogas e a psicóloga, que atuam na Classe Hospitalar da pediatria do Hospital Universitário Onofre Lopes (HUOL) localizado no bairro de Petrópolis, Natal-RN. No processo de análise dos dados trabalhamos com o estudo da legislação brasileira no tocante a essa temática, bem como a investigação de pressupostos teóricos que conferem o devido respaldo científico na área da aprendizagem e hospitalização escolarizada. Partimos de uma revisão da literatura relativa às abordagens pedagógicas que tratam da educação, especialmente no âmbito da Classe Hospitalar com autores como: Ceccim, R. B; Carvalho (1997), Fonseca (1999), Matos e Mugiatti (2001), dentre outros; realizamos uma análise documental com base nas leis previstas para educação especial no Brasil.
