Resumo: | In this work, the thermochemical conversion process of fast pyrolysis of the pineapple crown leaves (CDA) for the production of biofuels (bio-oil) was studied, followed by the introduction of ZSM-5 and HZSM-5 catalysts, which were synthesized Alternatives through diatomite and ashes of the rice husk, to lower costs of synthesis. The association of catalysts had the objective of reducing the amount of oxygenated compounds and increasing the fractions of aromatic components. The pineapple crown leaves were submitted to immediate characterization, apparent density, calorific value, elemental analysis, cellulose content, hemicellulose and lignin, TGA / DTG, FTIR, and MEV. The catalysts used in the catalytic pyrolysis were characterized by TGA / DTG, FTIR, DRX and MEV. The pyrolysis reactions were carried out in micro-pyrolysis with monitoring and product analysis by gas chromatography and mass spectroscopy, Py-GC / MS. The results showed that the biomass has characteristics necessary to be applied to the rapid pyrolysis process, but it has been found that the products of conventional pyrolysis are highly oxygenated and, according to the literature, is detrimental to the quality of the bio-oil, Thus the ZSM-5 and HZSM-5 catalysts are used to increase the quality of the final product, favoring aromatization reactions and basically converting all oxygenated compounds to aromatic compounds. In particular the reaction with the HZSM-5 catalyst at high temperature showed the best results, thus confirming the influence of catalyst acidity and catalytic bed temperature for the catalytic rapid pyrolysis process. |

A associação de catalisadores teve objetivo de reduzir a quantidade de compostos oxigenados e aumentar as frações de componentes aromáticos. As folhas da coroa de abacaxi foram submetidas a caracterizações imediatas, densidade aparente, poder calorífico, análise elementar, teor de celulose, hemicelulose e lignina, TGA/DTG, FTIR, e MEV. Os catalisadores utilizados na pirólise catalítica foram caracterizados por TGA/DTG, FTIR, DRX e MEV. As reações de pirólise foram realizadas em micro-pirolisador com acompanhamento e análise de produtos por cromatografia gasosa e espectroscopia de massas, Py-GC/MS. Os resultados mostraram que a biomassa possui características necessárias para ser aplicado ao processo de pirólise rápida, porém verificou-se que os produtos da pirólise rápida convencional são altamente oxigenados, e, que de acordo com a literatura é prejudicial à qualidade do bio-óleo, assim os catalisadores ZSM-5 e HZSM-5 oram utilizados para aumentar a qualidade (upgrading) do produto final, favorecendo as reações de aromatização e convertendo basicamente todos compostos oxigenados em compostos aromáticos.
