This Course Completion Work has as objective the development of actions in design for valorization of ceramist craftsmanship of the Quilombola Community Negros do Riacho, located in the municipality of Currais Novos-RN. The development of the project is based on the studies of craftsmanship and its relation with the design, as well as the relation between design and anthropology and how these two areas correspond to each other. The methodological process consists of bibliographical research and field research, mediated by tools and methods of ethnographic design, ergonomics, anthropology design and craftsmanship and design. The use of these tools and methods that allowed the design process was developed in a collaborative way with the participation of the actors involved in the proposed actions: Recognize the product and the territory and Develop new products that respect and value the territory. The result of the first action is the recognition of the artisanal ceramist production of the Quilombola Community Negros do Riacho and the values of the community and artisans that make up the object of study, the artisanal production. The second action resulted in the development of an artisan artifact through the design, a Human Traction Vehicle - VTH, with the objective of assisting in the task of extracting the clay in the handcrafted production of ceramics.
