Resumo: | Bio-oil is a potential fuel obtained from pyrolysis of biomass. This work provides a discussion about the different processes used to obtain this product, evidencing the factors that influence its properties and characteristics. A comparison of the properties of bio-oils with traditional fuels is presented. As well as this, the main treatments to upgrade biooil are also discussed |
