Resumo: Although Information Technology (IT) is disseminated in the organizational scenario, there are various ways on how to implement its adoption and acceptance. The management of IT has been investigated in the medical field with its main objective to find ways to describe activities in the Digital Era and its impacts in human relations. The impacts are analyzed in the form of doctor/patient relation. The case studies are targeted in identifying factors for acceptance and use of IT, which by the way do not occur as expected. The methods in this exploratory phase are qualitative. The results reveal a high level of electronic integration in certain organizational processes a significant resistance by doctors and patients in the adoption and use of IT during doctor consultations.
