Resumo: The growth of the Brazilian agribusiness has been one of the main points affected by the country's current economic growth. This activity has aspects an important element of managerial control, as it affects aspects that relate impacts to soil, air, water and visual. This work consists of a detailed survey of industries from fruit pulp of the state of Rio Grande do Norte / Brazil, and the deposition and the environmental impact of its waste, defining the main elements to be considered in the environmental management of these enterprises. It also aims, through a literature search to propose new alternatives for the recycling of waste from these industries as food and animal feed. Associating a concept of responsibility and sustainability to the life cycle of these products.

Essa atividade tem nos aspectos gerenciais um importante elemento de controle, visto que afeta aspectos que relacionam impactos ao solo, ar, água e visual. Este trabalho consta de um levantamento da situação das indústrias de beneficiamento de polpas de frutas do estado do Rio Grande do Norte/Brasil, quanto a deposição e ao impacto ambiental de seus resíduos, definindo os principais elementos a serem considerados no gerenciamento ambiental destes empreendimentos. Procura, também, através de uma pesquisa bibliográfica propor novas alternativas para o reaproveitamento dos resíduos destas indústrias como alimento humano e ração animal.
