Resumo: This work is to identify factors that have limited the effectiveness of the composition result as an instrument of Microfinance for the implementation process of Freedom Community Bank. Based on this case study, the paper analyzes the limits of such practices in the construction schedule of processing microcredit in Brazil operated by MFIs. We conclude that the BCs are bearers of differentiated practices of solidarity finance, with relative potential in contributing to social inclusion. On the other hand, since the role of government as a fundamental criterion of legitimation and consolidation of these modalities, up to the legislative regulation, and recognition of Solidarity Economy ventures with the purpose of Public Policy, a series of challenges to this practice is imposed.
