Resumo: A presente comunicação busca refletir, sucintamente, sobre as relações entre ecoturismo e desenvolvimento local. O mesmo apresenta, também, um mapa produzido pelos acadêmicos da chamada região da Serra do Tepequém, município de Amajari-RR, sendo esta uma das localidades que apresenta maior potencialidade para a prática do ecoturismo no estado de Roraima. Palavras-chave: Ecoturismo, desenvolvimento local, Tepequém. ABSTRACT This communication seeks reflect, briefly, about the relationship between ecotourism and local development. It also shows a map, produced by scholars, of the called region of the Tepequém, municipality of Amajari-RR, it has been one of the localities that presents greater potentiality for the practice of ecotourism in the state of Roraima.
