Resumo: | The specie Dragon Blood (Croton lechleri Mull.Arg) is a native Euphorbiaceae of the Amazon to have awakened great interest in the world by its medicinal properties in which the sap contains the Alkaloid “Taspina” for treating gastric diseases, scar tissues and in many countries has become a dietary supplement. The vegetative propagation of the species is given normally by the seeds, but this process is still unknown by the own physiology of the same plant. However, it is a solution for the production of seedlings; the specie adds a lot of finite to the shallow and unoccupied areas and the environment with great quantity of organic matter. Following the context the objective of this work was to evaluate different compositions of organic matter from the materials; soil, sawdust and manure favorable in initial seedlings growth via the seeds in the state of Roraima. The experiment as conducted in the fruit industry of the Embrapa Roraima in partnership with the Federal University of Roraima. It adapted an experimental positioning design was adapted in randomized blocks with 12 treatments and 4 replicates of 10 seedlings. During the 140 days total height of the plant, diameter of the shoot, number of leaves, total dry mass, root dry mass, dry mass of aerial part, chlorophyll theories a and b Falker® and the Dickson quality index for seedlings were evaluated. On average the best results were obtained in the soil composition and hen droppings mashed up in 200ml/bag, with height 48.30 (cm-1), diameter 12.08 (mm),15 leaves, dry mass aerial part 19.39 (g-1), root dry mass 15,02 (g-1), total dry mass 34.41(g-1) chlorophyll concentration of Falker® (Chl a) with 31.31 and (Chl b) with 8.28. For treatments with a high content of sawdust presented the least figures in vegetative growth of species’ seedlings. The seedlings of blood species of the dragon present better vegetative growth in substrates with high chicken stool as organic material fountain, these being the best indices of Dickson quality. |

A propagação vegetativa da espécie se dá, normalmente via semente, mais esse processo ainda é desconhecido pela fisiologia de maturação da mesma, porém, é uma solução para a produção de mudas, sendo que a espécie tem muita afinidade aos locais de várzea e ambientes com grande quantidade de matéria orgânica. Diante do contexto o objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar o efeito de diferentes composições de matéria orgânica a partir de materiais como: solo, serragem e esterco de galinha curtido para o crescimento inicial de mudas via semente no estado de Roraima. O experimento foi conduzido no setor de fruticultura da Embrapa Roraima em parceria com a Universidade Federal de Roraima. Adaptou-se o delineamento experimental de blocos ao acaso com 12 tratamentos e 4 repetições de 10 mudas. Durante 140 dias, foram avaliadas, a altura total da planta, o diâmetro do caule, o número de folhas, a massa seca total, a massa seca da raiz, a massa seca da parte aérea, os teores de clorofila a e b Falker® e o índice de qualidade de Dickson para as mudas. Em média os melhores resultados foram obtidos na composição Solo + Esterco de galinha curtido 200 ml/saco, com valores de altura 48,30 (cm-1), diâmetro 12,08 (mm), folhas 15, massa seca parte aérea 19,39 (g-1), massa seca da raiz 15,02 (g-1), massa seca total 34,41 (g-1), concentração de clorofila Falker® (Chl a) com 31,31 e (Chl b) com 8,28. Para os tratamentos com alto conteúdo da serragem apresentaram as menores medias no crescimento vegetativo de mudas da espécie.
