Resumo: | The theme of this dissertation is the experience of indigenous women who move between the international border Brazil-Guyana. Our research object was the experience of Macuxi and Wapichana women considering their autobiographical narratives. The overall goalwas to analyzehow women perceive, understand andtouttheir projects andgender relations; the specific objectives addressed their motivations for displacements, the identification of projects, how women build the experience of displacement and movementssuch as networks of relations hipsare driven in this process. The survey was conducted in various contexts, notablyin the associations of Indians livingin BoaVista/RR, which enabled the authorto participate inmeetings, workshops, short courses, festive cultural activitiesas well as the production and sale of handicrafts.These organizational spaces propitiatedmoments of encounter between ethnicities, the appreciation of the mother tongueand traditional culture, and counted with the presence of significant indigenous women coming from Guyana and Bonfim (Brazil). We resorted to the autobiographical narrative method, nine open interviews were conducted between September and December 2013. We interviewed seven Wapichana women and one Macuxi woman. There were three the most important results of this research. The firstwas to realize the effortof women learn to livein the world of"white", which meant masteringthe Englishlanguage, do the houseworkinall its manyspecialty and appropriating the skills andintricacies of Indian cuisinein environments not withlack of labor protection of women; the second was to realize the desire to learn on the partof indigenous women, do ingcraftsas a project to be more autonomo usand does not need to work as domestics, andthe thirdwasto note the willingness tostrengthen networks of relationships and situate KAPOI the Association as an ideal play spaceof lifes tylesin communities. O objetivo geral foi analisar como as mulheres percebem, compreendem e agenciam seus projetos e as relações de gênero; os objetivos específicos trataram de suas motivações para os deslocamentos, da identificação dos projetos, de como as mulheres constroem a experiência nos movimentos de deslocamento e como as redes de relações são acionadas nesse processo. A pesquisa foi realizada em contextos diversos, notadamente nas associações de indígenas vivendo em Boa Vista/RR, o que possibilitou a autora participar de reuniões, oficinas, minicursos, atividades culturais festivas, bem como da produção e venda de artesanatos. Esses espaços organizativos propiciavam momentos de encontro entre etnias, a valorização da língua materna e da cultura tradicional, além de contar com a presença expressiva de mulheres indígenas vindas da Guyana e do Bonfim (Brasil). Recorreu-se ao método de narrativa autobiográfica, sendo realizadas, no período entre setembro e dezembro de 2013, nove entrevistas abertas, sendo uma delas realizada com uma mulher Macuxi e as demais com mulheres Wapichana. Foram três os resultados mais relevantes desta pesquisa.
